Thanks for the help. I appreciate it. I found a heavy stamp on the passenger side behind the rad hose. Awkward place! Reads 16763(or 8) 29.

Engine mount is center front. I knew the original owner a little. It has 59000miles. It’s been parked for 43 years as they said it didn’t run good when they parked it. Everything is intact. However the alternator is missing and the starter appears wrong by way of bendix Drive teeth look larger than flywheel. Otherwise frame is mint. Body is ok. Well used. Wipers still work! Air still in tires! Brake and clutch pedal seized.

So any 318 such as an LA would bolt on? Any particular years? I have some options of people with various running engines available around me.
