Maybe it was missing a title and someone used a tag off a 1947? Maybe it is a 1947 with a late cab added?
What're the numbers on the two tags mounted on the front door jamb, frame, and engine?
Look at the link below to see the frame number location.
On the engine look for the following numbers on the driver side of the block:
1. Stamped number on the pad a few inches back from the front of the engine just below the head.
2. Cast number under the distributor and breather
3. Cast number under the starter motor.
If possible email me pictures of any numbers and the truck itself and I'll look for details to help determine the year of the parts.
