I have recently had the same problems with my Stihl chain saw and leaf blower. Amazon sells very inexpensive kits with new carb, new fuel line and filter, spark plug, and air filter. I paid $15 for chain saw and $12 for leaf blower. I changed out everything and both work like new. You need to pull your carb and get the # off of it and use that to search on Amazon. My chain saw was a C1Q S68E and blower was C1Q S68E. Look for those type numbers. The C1Q is on one side of carb and the other # is on opposite side. Both of my exhaust screens were perfectly clean and not the problem. Good Luck.
