How about just slipping new mounting blocks or rubber (depending on the year of your truck). It’s the same amount of work. Your already unbolting everything and slightly lifting the cab to put in the shims so why not just put in new mounts. Do both front and rear cab mounts. With the running boards just replace the wood in each support. It is a simple task. Use step bolts not carriage bolts on the running boards. I use high density plastic to make new running board support blocks. The original wood blocks hold water and cause rust. Plastic blocks don’t hold water.
