There is not any adjustment on the strikers. Do you have full movement on the spring loaded catches? Is paint getting in the way of movement. Lube the catches to help with movement. The only other possibility is that you put the wrong lacing on the cab and radiator cowl. I assume you bought the lacing from VPW or another trusted power wagon parts place.
