I’ve grafted 2 cabs together twice...it’s a ton of work. If you have enough patience, just wait & a good cab will come along. A good cab is like $500. The repair you’re talking about is like 100hrs of work. It just depends how fast you need it & if you can wait.
Both times I’ve done it, a mint cab has come up within a month of finishing the work! :)
