Not really. The Norwegian Army used a lot of surplus US WWII trucks for years. The US was dumping them at the end of the war and was not going to return them to the US.
I have talked to a couple of Norwegians at car shows. They see my WC53 and they tell me stories about them driving old Dodges when they were in the army.
