The casting impression is off, yet the gear tunnel is center when comparing at 90 degrees points around the gear from the side of the tunnel to the top of the teeth so the gear would work as intended without binding. It certainly does give the illusion that the tunnel is majorly off centered when looking at the gear due to the offset of the impression. When I first looked at it, I thought WOW what a mess this is, how could a gear be that far off and pass inspection, however after doing some measuring, I found it to be ok. If you follow the side of the impression to top of teeth around the gear, you can see the difference in width. Good job everyone! LOL
