That's my truck, it was a test bed for the slant 6, hanging pedals and a 205 transfer case. Dad put a small block chevy truck 327 with a 540 direct 5th, and 4.89 gears in it in 1965. The truck will cruise at 60 all day long, and pull any trailer. He purchased the truck (cab and chassis with no bed) at a scrap yard in Detroit, no engine, brand new, all apart, After Dodge finished there testing they scrapped it. Some where there is a sales movie with this truck in it circa 1964 I saw it at John Smiths house a long time ago, wish I could find a copy.
