Hi John,

Thanks,

Good to know about the LEDs not able to draw enough current for the flasher to work properly. But, I'm still using incandescent bulbs.

The phenolic board piece that is held by those small steel tabs came completely apart when I took off the dust cover screws for the switch assembly. They all went flying!

There were 5 springs, and four clips two of which were the brass contacts for the switch and two pieces of plastic and another phenolic piece with holes in it that goes around the button contact on the phenolic board all sandwiched inside that switch housing.

Fortunately, nothing got lost and I was able to put it back together and get it to work. So now all the lights are working again. But those steel tabs are not holding that phenolic board in place very well so twisting the switch housing makes it a little unreliable.

I guess I'll be getting a new Signal Stat style instead later. Maybe a chrome one.

Too bad, it was an original Autolite switch too.
