They are known in the fire service as SEATs. Single Engine Air Tankers. Used primarily out of California. We use them only when theres so many fires that all the other aircraft are committed. Not really used much in Ca. Our tankers can lay longer lines. Those are smaller and can't lay much line, as they can't carry that much. They are known in the fire service as SEATs.
