Hood adjustment

Body height has been set and radiator shimmed. FF hood has been disassembled and pins repaired w VPW kit. However now when closing the hood the left side slides forward due to the hood prop sliding down its support. I've found no corrective solution in the archives. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
