What type truck are you working on? I am do not think 240-33 Ohms will work on any old Dodge. I made a gauge tester and determined the Ohm range that was needed for my 1955 C-3-PW. I found a sender that would work and then made a mounting plate to fit the float and sender to it. Works perfectly now. Do you have the sender that came with the truck? I can most likely help you but I need more information about the truck and tank. Pictures would help a LOT. I have a source for sender and parts. Email the information to me.
