It would be interesting...hopefully we could learn from another's experience and not be the guinea pig.
I ended up having my power king 9X16 bias directional tires trued on the truck with a tire lathe at a "big" truck service shop followed by spin balancing with weights.
I believe that many bias tires made "offshore", e.g. China, Mexico, are more likely to be out of round, but not sure.
This process worked well, but is not "easy" ; I had to travel about 60 miles (trailered) and it consumed most of a day.
