I agree the ethanol is the most corrosive type of fuel out there and with a 30-day shelf life, it really is garbage.
I have found thou, adding Marvel Mystery Oil to my fuel and running the 93 octane vs the 87 for my saws, mower and other small engines makes it non-corrosive to all the aluminum and rubber parts and it also increases the shelf life. (I've let the fuel sit in my mower all winter)......been doing this for over ten years and haven't had any issues. Much cheaper than all these other snake-oil additives like Stabil, Sea Foam, etc......
