The fit is close, but it could be a several of reasons:
- The truck’s cab front insulators are fatigued and need to be shimmed or replaced or if you did replace, you need to shim, cab setting to low in front. Gap between fenders and hood is directly related to cab height.
- The fender brackets could be bent slightly upwards causing a rise in fender height.
- Worn lacing
