You're welcome Jerry! I don't know if it's an issue of being lazy or lack of knowledge. Not everyone will share their knowledge with someone new, and if the parts guy was just trained to plug in numbers without doing a part interchange, he just doing what he is taught. The other problem is the lack of database information. They have to use a 1949 Dodge Meadowbrook to find any parts for a flathead 230 engine and he doesn't know that as well.
