Ed, It can be done as easy to your truck as any...the unfortunate part is that in order to make it usable you need to raise the box several inches to get a framework under it...you can't just lift on the box. Usually when guys do this to a pickup they use a body lift on the cab to keep the box & cab in proper relation to one another.
Possibly if you put a heavy plate bottom (1/2" or even 3/4")in place of the oak bottom & welded your pivot points & lugs to that, you may be able to keep it all at the right height. Then with the rams & pump that I told you I'd get you, you're all set!
