i attempted to adjust my exhaust manifold damper on my m37 from the summer to winter position as i have done several times before. i hit it with wd40 about 3 times last week in preparation for the move and figured the heat and the lube would help. i put the wrench on it, turned it a little to feel how tight it was and it snapped off leaving about a 1/4 to a 1/2 inch sticking out. i wired the damper in the winter postion and it seems ok. what is the best way to repair this-- i.e. remove the stud and replace. i could take the manifold off- a major PIA and drill it out on my drill press - then use an ezout. what are my chances for success doing it on the truck??? any experience out there?? thanks for the help
