I don't think so because they measure the same as what the 1963-1968 Dodge truck parts manual shows for dimensions of the U bolts. I think they trimmed them a little for clearance. On my truck in the front there are 8 leaves, in the rear there are 12 leaves.

Optional leaves were 11 in front, and 14 in rear. I think for the rear, they added three overload springs on top of the standard 12 leaf pack.

The spring/axle mounting hardware is a little different between the later and earlier trucks too, but the axles are the same.

A lot of the chassis parts on this WM300 interchange with the W300 Sweptline trucks, but a lot do not. The shock absorbers are the same part number and style, for example. The control knobs in the dash are the same between the trucks. Some of the mounting brackets on the frame are the same. The hood ornaments are not the same with any truck, even with earlier Power Wagons. But all these parts are different from what my 1953 B4-PW had on it. But 20 feet away at 20 miles per hour, you wouldn't know the difference.

All I know is, Chrysler was very good at consolidating parts usage between production models through the years, obviously to keep costs down.
