When I changed my Turbo my boost pressures went up and my exhaust temperatures dropped about 200 degrees and after that I detuned the fuel pump so that it tosses out less fuel - it was blowing black with the old turbo, less with the upgrade and even less now. Thats under throttle - very clean when driving down the road.
I did not change the injectors, i would love to have ones with smaller orfices and a better pattern but have no clue what injectors would do this. Most so called "upgraded" injectors just dump more fuel because they have either more holes or bigger holes in the tip.
another thing to consider is if you are going to add an intercooler. If so get a turbo with a 90 degree elbow built in that will aim at the radiator. I do not have an intercooler but I think it would help in the power department at times.
Dan M has the whole intercooler thing down to a science. There are a few ideas on the Carryall thread, that may help save you a lot of time.

best wishes
Bruce
