Did they change the back of the oil gauge sometime in the early 60's? Aren't all the center mounted oil gauges the same? I ask because I have a center mounted oil gauge from a 1957 W(M)300 in my 6x6. It had a copper oil line and brass ferrel and nut at the back of the gauge when I bought it, so I used the same thing when I installed it. It seems to work fine. Just wondering if mine is different or if I was just lucky.
