My neighbor's kid got his dad's Ford stuck in mud up to the cab and pulled it at an angle like that. The left front wheel, spindle, etc., disengaged itself from the rest of the axle. I'm surprised the Chevy didn't experience the same.
And, yes, it was comforting to see the guy with the Lifeguard sweatshirt.
I felt sorry for he kid. He seemed to want to laugh but probably knew he would get thrown in the water by the "dumb and dumber" team.
