I think as in your post below tire size would make a big difference 900s a little too large for a WC for power. My truck with 251 has 489 gears and the tsl swampers are a little larger than the 900s but not a lot and no problems keeping up even on the hills. I once had 1100s on it and had to shift down to keep up
