The one thing that people are missing here is it is your truck and it’s caretaker in this section of its life, whatever you choose to do is your choice, my 1/2 ton came with a 237 modified, I am very happy with the performance of the truck, although I do loose some speed going up crazy hills here in NH. In most cases I do not fall below 40mph Her road behavior is pleasant cursing at 55mph comfortably for long periods of time on the hwy remembering you have 4:89 gears in a half ton happy to answer any questions you may have.
