there is no excuse for the poor design on the front end of these dodges. they cummins / dodge marriage is 4 generations old. it should be an improving combination, not one of diminishing service and reliability. all 4th gen trucks of this type have front end problems and poor mpg. anyone who is happy with the front end, gets great mileage or has had no issues is either easily pleased or lying. you shouldn't have to spend money on what should have been done correctly by the factory and the engineers.
