way that would work would be for the fiber washer to have an outside diameter the same size or slightly greater than the diameter of the commutator --1 9/16" (one and nine sixteenths inch)
The only one I've found close to that is with McMaster/Carr is bronze and has a 3/4 inside hole instead of the 5/8 shaft.
