Yep, Todd nailed it. Those are just some old flares I found. I have since replaced them with some nicer ones that still have good wicks and would probably hold kerosene if I were to fill them. What you see is a stack of three in a special holder that completely sheds water. No danger of contaminating the kerosene or wetting the wicks. They stack together in the holder. and look like one single canister.
