I learned about tires digging through mud to solid dirt from a avid jeeper who was our facility support person at the UW 45 years ago. He gave me a heck of a ride in the Leavenworth area. He taught me a lot and also made me pucker pretty good. He did a lot of Jeep racing but said his wife was a lot better racer and driver than he was.
