I agree, but it appears that my original core support has been modified. The truck had a junk yard radiator held in with bungee cords so I have no point of reference. There are three captured nuts welded into the core and the middle two do not look original.
I am also struggling finding a radiator. My core is 29.5 inches wide and the first one I purchased had two mounting flanges. The rear flange was too wide to slide down into the core support.
