So Joe has this in the PW firetruck photos section. Thats the Before. It's a 61 Howe mini pumper. Came from South Butler, PA. I had ot from 98 to 2006, and cleaned it up a lot, and added a lot of the small fire gear back on, along with the ladder, which I cut down from 14 feet. I still have the cut out section. Anyway, the guy that has it on ebay is the guy I sold it to in 2006. I sold it with the winch, which was not on it from the factory. I also sold him the tires and the Helitool disc brake kit thats on the front. It was the right time in life for me to pass it along. Jim, the current owner, really took it to the next level. It is not perfect but very nice overall. It alway ran strong, and had 9500 miles on it when I purchased it in 1998. Tye last owners, who I purchased it from, was NUS National Underground Storage in South Butler. They used it as their firetruck to run in the closed down limestone mine roads underground and around the complex. NUS created a secure underground naturally air conditioned milti roomed secure data facility down in the mines. Google it and you can read about NUS. If I had to guess, Jim has about 40k in 2006 dollars to get it to how it looks now. It is a strong runner. I used to take it on 100 miles trips one way twice a year to go trail riding in it with the MVPA chapter I belong too. Had it in many parades and local FD events too. I just got a kick out of seeing it again. Lots of good memories and of getting dirty from it, especially when I steam cleaned the underside and sandblasted much of the bed and underside. It has a 250 gpm watrous pump and holds 200 or 300 gallons in the bed. I forget exactly. It weighed 9500 lbs without the water and without the winch. Fun memories. The ebay listing is the after.
