I took the new Napa wheel cylinders apart wiped down with a clean cloth and put a light coat of red rubber grease internally and added some in the outer rubber boots installed Then I changed the brake fluid and it was clean the only place it looked discolored was in the wheel cylinders I took off there was some chafing on the pistons and some on the bore I dont know why I never had this happen before.It was only in a slight rain when I went to the car show last year and I keep it inside. You can somewhat see it the picture of the old cylinders I cleaned them up some to inspect
