I've ordered a NOS input yoke for the transfer case in my WM300. The existing yoke has a "slinger" on the back. The new one does not have a slinger.
What is the correct way to remove the slinger intact in order that I might be able to re-use it? Also, is there a smart way to reinstall the slinger?
