I think it's true what Mike was saying about shill bidders at auction artificially driving up the price and what your saying Keith about immaculate and extensive outstanding histories and all.

But some of the trucks have become rare and valuable on their own, weather they are a basket case or not.

Spending $15k on a Power Wagon that's not restored is already 4 times what is sold for when it was new. But it seems to be a common price point lately.

Even the Sweptline trucks are selling for significantly higher now than they did 15 years ago.

Something pushes these things up. I generally believe that any of the 1972 and earlier original Mopar cars and trucks always seem to sell higher than any of the GM or Ford cars and trucks. But they didn't make and sell as many of the Mopars either when they were new.
