Guys: On my truck, the corrosian was from the outside when we drove in deep water, the water got into the outside of the cylinder, not the inside. Then the aluminum Chinese pistons have a reaction with the steel cast parts, causing a mess. The rubber boots on the cylinders are dust boots, not waterproof boots. So I believe the aluminum pistons are fine with brake fluid, but water and moisture gets into the outside. It doesn't leak in, but it does cause problems. At least where I live.
