On eBay and having no luck. The 1960 has been on CL for a while as well. I’ve seen an unrestored original 1961-1966 W100 TW bring around $15K, but that was a one off. Your truck is painted in a unique way that might not appeal to everyone. That lowers the number of people interested.

I have seen trucks sell for more money than I would’ve expected before so it’s possible someone would pay $30,000 for your truck, but it seems like a high price.

Is it listed on Craig’s List? Have you tried eBay? Hemmings? It should be up for sale on every possible sales platform as you never know where you’re going to find a buyer.

If it was my truck I’d take it to a place with a pretty and slightly rugged background, like a forest road or something similar, to take new pictures. I’d take lots of pictures of every detail I could think of. Make sure the truck is clean and looks its best. Show the good and the bad. eBay and CL allow 20 or more images. Think over your text description. Make it as good as you can. Take the parts truck out of the deal. Nobody wants to pay for hauling two trucks. Say it comes with some spare parts and throw in anything the buyer wants offf the other truck. If they want the whole thing give it to them. If they don’t you can sell the hulk once you’ve sold the restored one.

Think hard on how you’re presenting this truck and do your very best. You’re trying to get top dollar in a slightly down market. Act accordingly.

Good luck!
Eric
