Yes the switch has been flipped here also. We actually saw a little rain yesterday.
I was listening to the weather professor that that have on the radio every Friday on one of the local stations. They always ask him something about the current weather conditions. He is actually quite good and doesn’t seem to run with the latest fad. The radio guy was asking about the warmer weather and how it had to do with global warming. The professor shot back that no the current weather that the guy was blaming on global warming was well within the normal boundaries. He said yes the earth’s weather is warming but you can’t assign everything to it.
Last week they were questioning him about all the smoke and how unusual it is. He answered back that this was the normal in the 1800’s and early 1900 with the natural forest fires burning in the area. The smoke basically went away as man started fighting and putting out every fire. Yes we got less smoke during that time but it allowed a lot of undergrowth to grow and forests to become dense. Now any fire takes off due to all of he fuel that has built up and we are paying for that in larger fires and smoke so bad they tell us to stay inside.
Very interesting and level headed professor.
