The RM400 and 500 Class A motor homes of the 1970s/early ‘80s have the five lug x 8” pattern used by some of the civilian type Dodges, plus a lot of Fords and Studebakers. The PW military pattern was five lug x 6 7/8” bolt circle. The Class C motor homes with eight lug x 6.5” pattern are like any other eight lug. The six lug x 7.25” pattern Class Cs and other vans and are great donors for the tubeless 17.5s and 19.5s. The bigger trucks with six lug x 8.75” pattern, commonly military surplus, are great donors too. Dodge used exclusively wheels with Goodyear split ring outer rims. Most of my time is spent on the Ford and Studebaker forums where guys have to deal with the “widow maker” Firestone RH-5° outer rims. The Dodge motor homes and military surplus trucks are primary donors. Stu
