It depends they type of insulation you used. I would use a dynomat to cover all of the sheet metal. That would keep moisture off the metal. If you want more insulation than that then used something that is closed cell. And glue it to the dynomat. What ever you do use a high temperature adheasive or the sun will heat the metal and pop the glue loose if it is not a high temperature adhesive.
