After dealing with the cracked front seam and changing the cap pressure down to 7lbs I managed to get a 400 mile epic trip in without any issues with the Carryall. Drove the truck up to 65 miles an hour and on a few hills the temps climbed to 215 degrees but not for very long.
A majority of the time the temps sit right on 190 when driving at speed. Crawling the temps do climb up - I find hitting the manual switch and not waiting for the temp switch to turn on the fan is the way to go. Oil temps at speed are 145 - 160. Highest oil temp was 190 with the water temps pegged at 215 and the pyro temps way up there at 1100. Changing gears brings the pyro temps down within seconds.

The trip - way too many breakdowns to talk about here.
We had one failed new alternator, one dead new regulator and one old fuel pump pack it in and this was before getting out of Vancouver. Follow this with me problem solving for two days and at least 6 stops on the side of the road and you can see why I elected to turn around and make a run for home. When I packed sit in yesterday the crew in the other three trucks was waiting till Monday for two new fuel pumps to come in. That would make their launch to around dinner time on Monday- Knowing this I am afraid I whimped out....too darn hot up that way.
I will do an in depth write up on The Carryall Thread
