Thanks, Those were some bad years to be there! 71-72 for me. My brother was at Khe San during the 82 day siege 67-68. I was attached to 1st Cav, 1/92 Artillery as a Combat Engineer. They also tried to get me but at 18 your bullet proof except for all those that did not come home up right! We had Camp Carrols 175mm Cannons 2 of them and 2 - 8" Howisters along with a lot of armor on the Firebase.
