I understand him wanting to "git 'er done". Hope he can do it soon and be back in top condition. Reminds me of my old neighbor who was telling me about his upcoming operation. He was going to get his knee replaced -- blew it out playing college football back in the leather-helmet era and it had started giving him a lot of trouble. But the doc told him the old pig valve they'd put in his heart was wearing out and he'd need to get a new pig valve put in before he'd be strong enough to get the new knee. He talked about it like he was talking about old truck parts.
