Our youngest locked herself in my mother in law's car last year. Not as scary because the weather wasn't as hot. She was old enough we convinced her to hit the unlock button but GM in there infinite wisdom overrides the unlock button on the door when the keys are in the car. It sounds odd but Piper hit the button, the locksmith tried it, and I verified it after the car was open. In town we were able to get a locksmith to the house and the car open within about 15 min but it felt closer to an hour. Not sure how I feel over all about Fords but the keypad entry is brilliant with others would follow.
