Treadwell did not have the correct carb that a '49 required but only the E7T2 so I took it. I have another and I was going to eventually put them on a dual carb manifold for a later PW. The tech, sounded like he knew what he was talking about and I thought might have been the mgr/owner. He was insistent that the governor was not necessary. He said that it was all dialed in and no adjustments were necessary. Easy to speak w and told me to call back w results. Received it in 3 days. Bolted up w the one gasket they sent. Started right up and ran great. I was curious as to how adjustments were made w/o my engine but forgot to ask.
