My Dad recently had a leaky valve repaired. All went well and he has gained some strength back. At 91 the Dr says part of his getting tired is just old age. He has been getting skin cancers removed for years now after a childhood in Florida. No need to worry about that too much. My dad can't do much to help because his brain is failing. From a senior scientist to not being able to balance his checkbook. I have been trying to figure out what I can have him responsible for. He loves the chore of feeding the chickens. Once day he went into out shed and got some snail pellets out that look just like the chicken feed pellets. No chickens died but we has to lock the shed. My son came over to have me point while he fixed something on his car. My Dad came out to see what we were doing but I could not get him to sit in a chair and just be with us. I meant to add my support to you and your family but talking about my dad took over. I saw one of those car repair/ restoration shows and the guys father was working on an engine just sitting on the floor. Legs or something not strong enough to stand. I hope I can do that when I become too weak. If your dad wants to hang around the shop feel blessed and try to let him do something useful. That is my dad's goal is to be useful.
