the 4bt is available for around 5100.00 delivered. engine came without starter/fan/alt. I added the alt, fan, starter, ac comp, tensioner. even thought the warranty is useless, re-gasketing and prepping a used engine will cost the same amount and then if the injection pump has set around it will probably leak or go shortly, turbo may be bad, the list goes on. these engine ceased u.s. manufacture at the end of 2010. then production moved to china.
the price is very good and we will find out about quality with time. I imagine more and more shops will start offering these.
