I'm an idiot. Didn't realize the retainer was being held off the countershaft by a burr as I was torqueing it down. Cracked it and it's not a part you can order. Also took out the shim in the process. All to re-seal it when it was already properly sealed. You know, just in case...
Does anyone have a scrap NP435 case they can take this off of and send me? It's the slightly trapezoidal 4x4" cast cover that bolts to the case under the output.
