As you know, very few people can do this kind of work, regardless of price.
I remember seeing photos of when he got the machine for putting the wire bead around the fenders. I was impressed with the size of that machine. I imagine he must have a big press for stamping out the doors skins.
I drove by a place the other day that had a re-pop of a Mustang fast back body, I guess made in China. I know that some hot rod bodies are also being made out of steel. But, for most of us, the thought of doing something this complex is not even a day dream.
I'm glad that places like Legacy and Classic trucks keep Tisdale in business. It allows us access to parts that wouldn't otherwise be available. Although, I doubt that I would ever spend that kind of money on a Power Wagon.
