I buy Av and use Av gas in my two cycle equipment, pressure washer, push mower, aerator, rototiller and two old John Deere tractors. Basically anything that risks not using a full tank of gas in two months.
I've been doing that for over five years and have not had a single carburetor issue since. I still continue to be a nice guy for my neighbors and soak/rebuild their carbs because they don't want to spend $5.00 a gallon on real gas with no alcohol.
I am convinced the only reason we have ethanol in the gas is that the corn growers and small engine mechanics lobbied for it.
It is not a coincidence Avgas has no alcohol in it. Our marine gas has alcohol in it, but if your boat quits in the middle of the bay you won't crash out of the sky into a playground.
Where I live, they will fill approved containers and vehicles that are not licensed and driven on the road. (like a 1948 John Deere tractor....)
If anyone tells you ethanol gas is as good as non-ethanol gas maybe they've been drinking too much alcohol!
Everytime my PW is in a location where they sell ethanol free I fill it up.
And that's why all our on road vehicles and modern tractor uses diesel fuel....
Tired of rebuilding carbs in Maryland.
