Some things just cannot be assigned a strict torque. There are so many variables.
I tighten mine with a 3/4-inch drive ratchet wrench that has about a 24-inch long handle. I do tighten in a star pattern. I do not use a cheater bar or jump up and down on the handle but I do lean into it with my weight. I have never in 38 years had a lug nut work loose. In fact, it is all I can do to loosen them later with the same ratchet and socket. But, they are self tightening by design so that is not surprising.
I drive long miles on rough roads and carry heavy loads on occasion. I believe Bubba is spot on with his "lots" estimate.
